Strategic Leadership and Vision    

• Develop a strategic IT vision that aligns with organizational goals.

Infrastructure Management           

• Ensure infrastructure meets performance, security, and budgetary standards.

Service Operations Management   

• Direct effective IT service delivery and incident management.

Data Operations and Security        

• Oversee data integrity and protection.

IT Financial Planning and Budgeting       

• Manage the IT budget effectively.

Compliance and Risk Management           

• Ensure IT compliance and risk mitigation.

Team Leadership and Development          

• Recruit and lead the IT Management Team

Vendor and Stakeholder Management     

• Maintain strong external and internal relationships.

Staying Abreast of Emerging Technologies and Industry Trends    

• Stay informed about the latest technologies and trends in the industry, attend industry events, read industry publications, ad network with other professionals.

Reporting and Performance Metrics        

• Report on IT Performance and Infrastructure Health

Miscellaneous and General

•  Complete any assigned work-related duties and responsibilities

Competencies and Minimum Requirements:   

Qualification

Educational Background          

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management or a related field – A Post Graduate Qualification is an advantage.

Professional Certifications       

• Certifications like ITIL, PMP, or specific to infrastructure technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, VMware) can be highly beneficial.

Specific Technical Certifications         

• These could be related to cloud computing, cybersecurity, RPA, API management, or other specific technologies used within the organization
