Experienced Architect (Re-advertised) at SAOTA

We are looking for an Experienced Professional Architect to join our team. The successful candidate should display good leadership skills, the ability to lead a team of 6 - 10 staff members and manage interactions with clients.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Managing client expectations and relationship
• Leading multidisciplinary projects
• Monitoring and responding to RFP's
• Leading the agreed creative direction, generating design ideas and diligently maintaining focus on the technical design characteristics
• Leading project presentations
• Lead technical aspects of projects and play an integral role in systems development
• Control resource planning, adjusting and reporting as required
• Monitor, train and support all levels of staff in the team

Skills and Qualifications required are:

• Professional Architect
• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Project experience in multi-disciplinary projects in SA / abroad for a minimum of 4 years
• Ability to work in a complex multi-cultural environment
• Proven leadership skills / management experience
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills
• High levels of drive, accuracy and focus
• Working knowledge of Revit and Lumion
• Able to travel
• All Employees are required to have an uncapped 20Mbps (up/down) minimum Internet Connectivity line.
