Field Quality Supervisor - Cape Town at Truworths

We have an exciting job opportunity that has become available for a Quality Controller based in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities 

• Quality control monitoring of goods manufactured at CMTs, and service providers including, but not limited to Cutting, printing, embroidery, pleating and finishing services
•  Liaison with Design Division Garment Technologists on quality issues
•  Liaison with Design Division technical teams and Operations Managers and Planners
•  AQL and S4 reports
•  Reporting and monitoring of all quality issues arising at the factory and the implementation of and measurement of action plans and mentoring/training for improvement.
•  Daily reports to Head Office
•  Able to manage priority workloads, appointments and schedules

Qualifications and Experience 

• Clothing manufacturing experience in a factory environment
•  Experience in a Quality Assurance role at Senior Auditor/supervisory level
•  Minimum experience of 5 years in a similar role or level of responsibility
•  Experienced in conducting AQL (Level 2.5 major, 4 Minor) inspections and compiling AQL and S4 reports.
•  Code 8 Drivers licence
•  Basic computer literacy and Excel skills an advantageCompetenciesTechnical and Behaviours Competencies:
