An NQF 4 qualification (Grade 12 / ABET / AET level 3) as recognized by SAQA. NQF 6 qualification in Nature Conservation as recognized by SAQA will be an added advantage.
An EMI certificate will be an added advantage. Game ranging certificate. Valid SAPS Firearm Competency Certificate (handgun/rifle/shotgun).
Valid driver’s license (with exception of persons with disability). Physically fit. No criminal record.
Skills and Knowledge:
Tracking and firearm handling. Report writing skills.
Communication skills (verbal & written).
Be able to work irregular hours (weekends & public holidays).
Be able to travel as and when required. Knowledge of the control of dangerous wild animals.
