We are seeking account executives to drive our sales and conversion in the hospitality segment, which is focused on established restaurants and coffee shops. We have developed the best-in-class capabilities across payments, software, hardware and financial services to empower restaurant owners across South Africa, and we are looking for extraordinary sales professionals to take our solutions to the market.
You will be on the road, finding and meeting prospective customers, and helping solve their business problems through Yoco’s tailor-made hospitality products. The ideal candidate is a customer-focused problem solver with exceptional communication skills and sales experience in the hospitality sector.
What you'll be doing
Identify potential clients and prospects through research and networking
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
Build and maintain relationships with customers
Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients
Negotiate and close deals with customers
Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports
Collaborate with other sales team members to achieve team goals
About you
5+ years of experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality and technology sector
You have a valid driver's license, and your own vehicle
You have experience selling products to the hospitality industry, especially POS or payment Systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
A problem solver, with a can-do attitude and customer centricity
Strong understanding of payments and/or hospitality software products is a plus
