As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing minor/major and preventive maintenance on Siemens Energy compressors and auxiliaries.
Your duties will include site preparation, leading site activities, documenting site activities, and providing technical support as part of a team or independently.
You will be expected to identify and resolve technical problems, develop strong customer relationships, and ensure compliance with Siemens Energy standard EHS guidelines and quality standards. Additionally, you will actively support post-outage activities, such as documentation and feedback.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or vocational School Degree in Mechanical Technician
5 years of experience in a field service environment
Experience working with rotating equipment on compressors and gearboxes
Experience working at Petrochemicals, Oxygen Plants, and Mines will be an advantage
General profound understanding of technical equipment and ability to work with technical documentation
Strong analytical skills, proactive attitude, and a strong affinity for technology and innovation
Knowledge and working experience with rotating equipment, especially steam turbines, would be an asset
Excellent communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English
Proficient in computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Projects
