Finance & Accounting Operating Leader at Impact

As Finance & Accounting Operating Leader you will deliver on the financial goals and objectives of the team. You will also work closely with the global consolidations and financial reporting group to ensure month-end close deadlines, quality of service, and operational performance are met. Other areas that you will oversee include payroll, procure to pay, billings & collections, and fixed assets management for the global business. Currently, the company operates in 10 jurisdictions in the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia. 

This role will report into the VP, Global Controller, based in the U.S. who will lead the company in scaling key global finance processes. 

What You'll Do:

• Develop and refine global financial processes including procure to pay and order to cash to ensure these processes are efficiently designed to support the global scaling of the business
• In partnership with the Global consolidations and financial reporting group ensure month-end close deadlines, quality of service, and operational performance is met
• Develop and document finance policy and processes to drive operational efficiency
• Oversee global payroll operations, identify and scale processes in partnership with HR, external payroll providers to ensure compliance with local regulations in the countries we operate
• Stay abreast of industry best practices across procure to pay, collaborating with finance, business systems, and operations teams
• Lead project activities related to accounts payable/receivable functions bringing exceptional value to the company through total cost reduction, streamlining workflow, automation, etc.
• Develop plans to train the organization on the purchase requisition process to ensure adherence to company policies and on-time and accurate payments to vendors/ from customers
• Design KPI and related monitoring, reporting, and analyses to drive effective process improvements to lead and maintain compliance in AP, AR, collections, and payroll operations
• Mentor and develop finance operations staff in order to achieve department and company goals
• Manage team resourcing, performance levels, & development plan for business continuity
• Assist in assessing gaps in controls over payroll, billing, collections, and fixed assets and improving the design and operating effectiveness of those controls.

What You Have:

• 9+ years experience in private or public company environments overseeing global accounting and finance operations
• Highest level of integrity and good judgment, with the ability to effectively deal with highly sensitive, confidential information
• CA(SA) or equivalent relevant certification (preferred)
• Experience in a fast-paced, high growth SaaS/ Technology industry (preferred)
• NetSuite and NetSuite-add-on tool implementation experience (preferred)
• Experienced and knowledgeable with USGAAP accounting and reporting
• Experience working across multiple geographies including the US, Europe, SA, Singapore, Australia, and China
• Experienced and knowledgeable with finance process design, compliance and controls, standard operating procedures (SOP), and policies
