    Finance Administrator (6 Month Contract)

    POSITION SUMMARY

    • The Hospitality Finance Administrator is responsible for supporting the finance department with day-to-day accounting and administrative functions within a hospitality environment. This role ensures accurate financial record-keeping, assists with financial reporting, manages accounts payable and receivable processes, and helps maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
    • The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience working in finance within hotels, restaurants, resorts, or hospitality groups.

    Key Responsibilities

    Financial Administration

    • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
    • Process invoices, expense claims, and supplier payments.
    • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
    • Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and daily cash-ups.
    • Verify daily revenue reports from front office, POS systems, and outlets.
    • Support the reconciliation of room revenue, restaurant sales, and event income.
    • Assist with stock and inventory financial reporting where applicable.

    Reporting & Compliance

    • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management accounts.
    • Maintain financial filing systems and audit documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and policies.
    • Support internal and external audit processes.

    Administrative Support

    • Coordinate financial documentation between departments.
    • Maintain supplier and vendor records.
    • Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc financial analysis and administrative tasks.

    Required Qualifications

    • Experience in a finance or accounting administration role.
    • Experience within hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or tourism environments is highly advantageous.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

    Preferred Skills

    • Knowledge of hospitality management systems and POS reporting.
    • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
