Finance Analyst - Accounts Payable at Robert Walters

• Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Finance Analyst to join their global finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Finance Team on Accounts Payable, expenses processing, and bookkeeping. This position is based in the vibrant city of Cape Town, South Africa.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Analyst, your primary role will be to provide comprehensive financial support to the global finance team.

• Manage the Accounts Payable mailbox and process invoices into Coupa
• Handle Accounts Payable queries (internal & external) and communicate with suppliers
• Provide first review of employee expense claims and set up weekly payments for expenses
• Prepare weekly expenses journals and postings in SAGE Intacct
• Provide bookkeeping support, e.g., Journals - prepayments, accruals, using SAGE Intacct
• Manage daily Bank Statement update and set up ad-hoc payments
• Weekly update of bank balances in Tagetik

• Excellent attention to detail and methodical work manner
• Intermediate or higher level of Excel (preferred)
• Experience with SAGE Intacct or similar (preferred)
• Strong data entry skills and understanding of expense categorisation
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate good communication skills
• Experience working in a high-performance culture of continual performance improvement
• Ability to thrive in a collegiate environment that operates on a global level
