Job Description

• A well renowned consumer finance business has an exciting role for a Finance Analyst. The role reports into a Senior Finance Analyst and the successful incumbent will assist / support functional business Heads with budget, forecasting submissions, monthly end management, reporting on various cost, efficiency, and business driver metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for monthly meetings with Business Unit Heads/Managers
• Contribute towards operational efficiency by identifying opportunities for improving data, systems and processes/procedures
• Take responsibility for the budget cycle for the relevant business areas and manage budget vs actuals on a month-to-month basis
• Ensure that all requests received from stakeholders are managed and delivered on within the agreed upon timelines
• Support assigned Heads/Managers with ad hoc requests on financial matters and data
• Provide high quality, complete and detailed analysis of results compared to forecast
• Understanding and explaining key drivers of results
• Support and manage tracking of capex spend, budget with Strategic Project and Accounting team
• Support provided on Projects or requests from the business

Requirements:

• BComm / Diploma in Accounting / Finance or studying towards a CIMA qualification
• 3 years’ experience
• Proven analytical skills
• Proficient in MS Excel
