Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Partner with the Chief Operating Officer and senior leadership to develop and execute the BU’s financial strategy in alignment with Omnia’s Group objectives.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making, including investments, market expansion, and operational improvements.
• Drive long-term financial planning to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
• Monitor financial performance against targets, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending corrective actions.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reports, analysis, and insights to the Managing Director and executive team.

Capital Management & Resource Allocation

• Optimize capital allocation to support strategic priorities, including investments in technology, infrastructure, and market expansion.
• Manage working capital, cash flow, and liquidity to ensure the BU’s financial stability.
• Evaluate and oversee funding strategies, including debt and equity financing, as required.

Risk Management & Compliance

• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including market volatility, currency fluctuations, and regulatory changes.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
• Implement robust internal controls and governance frameworks to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.

Operational Efficiency & Cost Management

• Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs across the BU.
• Collaborate with operational teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance profitability.

Stakeholder Management & Reporting

• Act as the primary financial liaison between the BU and Omnia’s Group finance team, ensuring alignment and transparency.
• Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Present financial performance, strategic initiatives, and risk assessments to the Managing Director, leadership team and other key stakeholders.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure the finance function is equipped with the skills, tools, and systems needed to deliver on strategic and operational objectives.

Qualifications

• A post graduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• An MBA or master’s degree is highly desirable.
• Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent certification.

Experience

• 10 to 15 years’ experience in manufacturing, chemical and/or agricultural environment.
• Minimum of 5 years senior management level experience as a CFO.
• Experience in managing multiple international regions and entities at a senior level.
• Demonstrable experience in developing and executing strategies and business plans.
• Experience in quality assurance and continuous improvement management.
• Proven people management experience and managing high performance diverse teams.
