Finance Manager at Col'Cacchio Holdings (Pty) Ltd

Position: Financial Manager, Cape Town. Salary: R720k pa CTC

We are an established, exciting and growing franchise brand looking for a young, hungry, organized and driven Financial Manager to join our team who will work closely with and report to the Managing Director.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum Qualification in Accounting - BComm (Accounting/Finance)(Non-Negotiable),
•  A minimum of five years’ experience in operational management, management accounting and financial management, no chancers
• Strong operational efficiency optimisation (personnel and capital utilisation)
• Financial modelling with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong ability to maximise and optimise the financial management of the organisation
• Driving key financial and operational indicators and profitability
• Knowledge of XERO and/or Sage One / Pastel. (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Excellent ability to perform tasks independently with high levels of organization and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of contract law a plus.
• Strong IT knowledge a plus
• Strong project management skills

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• You will be responsible for managing the full financial ambit of the organisation and the existing finance staff in their day-to-day bookkeeping and preparation of monthly accounts and forecasts.
•  Oversight of the monthly operations processing including cash books, debtors and creditors on accounting software program (XERO and Sage one) up to trial balance.
• Review of the monthly management accounts, including analysis with a focus on comparison to budget and follow up of all variances, and feedback of insight to the management team.
• Balance sheet reconciliations including bank, debtors, VAT, petty cash and credit cards.
• Oversight of supplier payments and monthly supplier reconciliations.
• Full monthly payroll function
• Monthly intercompany balances reconciliation and resolution of all variances.
• Liaise with debtors and follow up on late payment
• Oversight of all SARS statutory submissions for returns & payments (VAT201, EMP201, IRP6, VAT)
• Liaise and correspond with SARS on various tax matters as the company representative.
• Meeting reporting & submission deadlines for SARS.
• Financial year-end preparation, including liaison with external auditors during year-end audit.
• Handling all insurance and legal matters.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Registers.
• Support Business Development Director on financial modelling of new stores and stores for sale.
• Support Exco team on all financial and strategic matters to achieve their individual and company KPI’s.
• Preparation and analysis of Board packs.
• Manage and support the finance department team.
