Finance Manager at Network Recruitment

• A leading international manufacturing organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Financial Manager (CA(SA)) on a 6-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) based in Isando.
• Operating within an international matrix reporting structure, you will partner with both local and global finance teams to deliver accurate financial reporting, maintain strong financial controls, and provide commercial support to the business. This role requires a technically strong finance professional who can confidently manage complex reporting requirements, drive continuous improvement, and influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organisation.
• You will take ownership of the external audit process from planning through to successful completion, ensuring all statutory and IFRS reporting requirements are met while navigating demanding timelines and managing challenging stakeholders. Although the role has no direct reports, you will provide guidance and oversight to an indirect finance team while working closely with senior operational and finance leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and consolidation of Annual Financial Statements across multiple legal entities.
• Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting processes.
• Drive the external audit process from planning through to successful audit completion.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, statutory requirements, and internal financial controls.
• Partner with local and international stakeholders within a global matrix reporting structure.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial performance analysis.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders while effectively managing complex and challenging business interactions.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• CA(SA) qualification is essential.
• 5–8 years' post-articles experience.
• Proven Financial Management experience within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong technical accounting experience, including consolidations and Annual Financial Statements.
• Demonstrated experience working within an international matrix reporting environment.
• Proven ability to successfully manage external audits through to completion.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior local and international business leaders.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
