Finance Manager at The Advisory Firm Limited

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable Function
• Account Receivables Function
• Credit control and Reconciliation
• Overseeing Banking Functions and Bank reconciliations
• Cashflow management
• Leadership of the finance team
• Generate full set of management accounts
• Debtors control accounts
• VAT control account
• Creation of a high performing team environment
• Design of internal SOP’s and controls
• Run the month end reporting process and accurate month-end close
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Oversee the processing and hiring of staff
• Oversee journal processing
• Variance analysis

Requirements

• Leadership of a finance team/Setting up a finance department
• Ideally CIMA / SAIPA or similar finance qualification
• FMCG/INDUSTRY/RETAIL experience preferred
• More than 3 years' practical solid bookkeeping and management accounting experience
• Experience in- or desire to work in- a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent Microsoft office skills (Word & Excel)
• Xero accounting advantageous
