Financial Accountant - Cape Town: City Bowl at Communicate Recruitment

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible, but not limited to, the following:

• Supports the co-ordination and preparation of the client’s logistics budgets, financial forecasts, scenario planning and actual versus budget cost tracking
• Recommendation and implementation of financial processes, improvement measures and internal control procedures
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Preparing & reviewing of monthly Balance Sheet recons
• Managing junior staff

Skills & Experience:

• Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles, AGA(SA) or PA(SA)) with a minimum 1-3 years post-articles experience
• CA(SA) / CIMA beneficial
• 1-3 years’ experience in a retail / logistics environment highly advantageous
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheet skills

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with completed SAICA/SAIPA articles
