Financial Admin Manager at Mediclinic

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

• To manage the financial department and all related processes to ensure effective management of hospital revenue and expenses and oversee the quality of outcomes of the different supportive services departments.

• Lead and manage the people in the team

REQUIRED EDUCATION

• ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Degree or equivalent qualification within financial, business, or accounting.
• DESIRED EDUCATION: Accountant or Chartered Accountant

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years of financial experience. 3-5 years’ experience in a managerial or supervisory position.
• DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 5 years financial administration manager experience within the hospital/healthcare industry.

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Contract and service level agreement (SLA) management
• Cost Control (including petty cash; etc.)
• Financial management (financial statement interpretation; budgeting and financial planning; Return on Investment; etc.)
• Financial risk management
• Project Management
• Relevant statutory and legislative guidelines and requirements
• SAP
