Financial Analyst at Ovations Technologies

Key Responsibilities:

• Budgeting & Forecasting – Prepare budgets and forecasts within turnaround times by gathering business requirements, analysing trends, and making informed recommendations.
• Financial Reporting – Collate data, create reports, analyse financial results, and provide meaningful commentary.
• Strategic Calendar Adherence – Meet reporting deadlines by working efficiently within the monthly strategic calendar.
• Stakeholder Engagement – Build and maintain strong relationships through regular communication and participation in key meetings.
• Quality Control & Compliance – Ensure accurate general ledger entries, verify data integrity, and conduct daily/monthly quality control checks.
• Regulatory Compliance – Stay updated on industry regulations, policies, and best practices, ensuring full compliance.
• Continuous Learning & Development – Pursue relevant training, certifications, and professional development opportunities to enhance expertise.
• Process & System Improvement – Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance financial processes, systems, and policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in Accounting/Financial Management.
• 1-2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with financial reporting and budgeting tools.
• Knowledge of general ledger reconciliation and compliance frameworks
