    Financial Information Resource Management Administrator (6 Months FTC)

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    • The job holder will be responsible for the assignment of client, matter, and timekeeper numbers in the finance system. Assist attorneys and business services employees with information requests. Maintain all files and records in the department.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Ensure timely turnaround and high level of quality control in the assignment of client, matter, and timekeeper numbers in Elite.
    • Synchronize and maintain data flow between Elite and new business intake system.
    • Maintain client and matter information in the Elite database, including but not limited to, updates to billing information, managing rate tables, recording name changes, updates to billing or origination allocation changes, updates to matter status, and edit other Elite fields as requested.
    • Review and implement special billing arrangements in line with outside counsel guidelines.
    • Work with international teams to assign corresponding billing numbers as required.
    • Ensure the data integrity of the conflict database by ensuring that all related parties are linked as needed for newly assigned international client/matters.
    • Respond to requests from attorneys, assistants, billing, and conflicts teams.
    • Provide billing arrangement reports to other departments, as needed.
    • Assist with the annual billing rate adjustment process to review and update special billing arrangements and firm billing rates.
    • Assist with special projects, as needed.
    • In accordance with your terms of employment you are required to ensure that the firm's information security policies and procedures are followed at all times.
    • You are required to complete security awareness training within a reasonable timeframe and apply the policy, and training requirements when handling information.
    • You are required to inform your manager or senior member of staff if you become aware of, or suspect a breach of security.

    THE CANDIDATE

    • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
    • Commerciality; must be focused on delivering high quality services in a fast paced and challenging environment.
    • Excellent all round Computer skills including Excel and the MS Office Suite.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING

    • Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in related field or combination of education and commensurate work experience required.
