Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional designation through SAICA, SAIPA, or an equivalent professional body.

Essential Experience

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Financial Management role.
• Experience within agricultural finance, financial services, or a related commercial environment will be advantageous.
• Proven experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Microsoft Business Central (BC).
• Strong understanding of financial management, governance, compliance, and reporting standards.
• Experience presenting financial information to senior leadership and Boards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the financial strategy of VKB Financial Services.
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare and present financial reports to management and the Board of Directors.
• Monitor organisational profitability and identify performance improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with FSCA, FIC, trust account regulations, and other applicable legislation.
• Manage internal and external audit processes.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial information.
• Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls.
• Lead and develop accounting, finance, and administration teams.
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Manage reporting deadlines and regulatory submissions.
• Support business growth initiatives through financial analysis, due diligence, and strategic decision-making.
