• A well-established engineering company is seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter & Turner to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, repair, and machining of mechanical and hydraulic components while ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified Fitter & Turner with a recognised Trade Test and Red Seal certification
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Proven experience working with hydraulic systems, pumps, cylinders, valves, and related components
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Experience with conventional machining equipment, including lathes, milling machines, and drilling machines
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's licence will be advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems and mechanical equipment
• Conduct fault finding and repairs on hydraulic pumps, cylinders, motors, and valves
• Perform fitting, turning, machining, and fabrication work as required
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Ensure all work is completed according to quality and safety standards
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimise equipment downtime
• Complete job cards and maintenance documentation accurately
