Focused Improvement Engineer - Johannesburg or Cape Town at Pragma Global

The main responsibility of this position is to analyse data gathered via IoT monitoring devices on equipment like back-up generators and refrigeration systems and to identify improvement opportunities to improve asset reliability and/or reduce cost. Minimum Requirements    

• Relevant tertiary qualification | B Eng Degree, B Tech Degree
• 1 -3 Years project management experience
• Ability to effectively do technical fault finding 
• Data analysis expererience
• Keen interest in monitoring hardware, data, software and the way it all comes together
• Good facilitation skills
• Good and professional communication skills
• Have own reliable transport and is willing to travel

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Execute Focused Improvement interventions    
• Perform and facilitate, Root Cause Analysis (Defect Elimination)    
• Develop Asset maintenance strategy and tactics    
• Develop Maintenance programs, i.e. Life Cycle Management etc.    
• Develop and improve Maintenance material management systems    
• Monitor Equipment performance and reliability in order to identify and initiate Focused Improvement Activities    
• Utilise and develop Condition monitoring information and systems    
• Review and continuously improve Work management processes
