Foreman (Electrical) at City of Tshwane

Appointment requirements

• Grade 12
• An appropriate trade test as Electrician (red seal)
• Wireman’s licence – registered at the Department of Labour
• At least two years’ relevant experience as Electrician after the trade test
• A valid Code B driving licence
• Computer literacy with SAP knowledge
• Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost

Primary functions

• Supervise the electrical workshop and specific specialised tasks
• Ensure safe operations to adhere to safety rules and regulations as per the Occupational Health and Safety Policy
• Ensure that work meets quality and safety standards
• Plan and allocate tasks to team members, monitor progress and report to manager
