    Description

    To ensure that agricultural equipment is repaired and maintained. Assist technicians in their duties.

    Requirements

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

    • Grade 12
    • Qualified mechanisation technician
    • Valid driver’s license

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

    • 8 years experience as a qualified mechanisation technician of which 4 years John Deere experience

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

    • Repair and maintain agricultural equipment
    • General supervision
    • Risk Management
    • Customer service
    • Housekeeping

    TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES          

    • Good customer services
    • Good planning and organising

    • Business acumen
    • Analytical
    • Willingness to work in hot areas as well as outside locations
