Forklift Driver - Paarl at KWV

Purpose: 

• Responsible for operating a forklift to load and offload trucks. To move, locate, relocate, stack, and pick stock for orders. Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Valid Forklift Licence with 2 – 3 years’ forklift experience
• Availability to work overtime and over weekends when operationally required
• Must be result driven and organised

Skills Required:

• Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at various levels
• Maintain good record keeping of stock in and stock out
• Assist with general work in the Packaging area
• Assist Team Leader with stock taking
• Be able to arrange stock in KAN BAN area and report discrepancies
• Abide by safety rules and regulations
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure
• Customer and goal orientated
• Problem solving and initiative skills

 Job Summary:

• Load empty bottles on lines, move finished stock from lines and supply the re-work area with stock to be processed
• Assist with general work around Packaging when required
• Ensure the Packaging area is kept clean at all times (Housekeeping)
• Rework area to be assisted with stock
