Forklift Operator / Storeman at Pillangó Placements

• A well-established distribution business in Durban North is looking for a reliable Forklift Operator who is also comfortable supporting general stores duties. This is a practical, hands-on role for someone who works safely, keeps stock organised, and does not mind stepping off the forklift when needed.

Duties / Key Responsibilities
Operate a forklift safely when loading, unloading, and moving stock

• Assist with receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch
• Check stock quantities and report damaged or missing items
• Maintain accurate stock records and tidy storage areas
• Support general Storeman duties when forklift work is quiet
• Follow warehouse safety rules and operating procedures

Note: Requirements

• 2–3 years’ forklift operating experience
• Valid forklift licence
• Experience in a warehouse, stores, or distribution environment
• Clear criminal record
• Verifiable employment history and references
• Willingness to complete lawful pre-employment screening, including drug testing and a polygraph where applicable

Education

• Grade 12 / Matric preferred
