Foundation Phase Teaching: Faculty of Education (Part-Time) at ADvTECH

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• B.Ed. Honours degree or an Honours degree in Education or another Humanities/Arts/Social Science Honours or Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8) 

 And:

• The undergraduate or postgraduate qualification must include a module on Teaching and Learning/Pedagogy in the Foundation Phase

 And:

• The undergraduate qualification must include Foundation Phase specialisations / modules as a major (up to third year level) or the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (NQF level 8) must include Foundation Phase specialisations / modules

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• Teaching/lecturing experience in the Foundation Phase is required.
• Lecturing experience would be an advantage.
• Note: Teaching experience does not include experience gained during Teaching practice / Work Integrated Learning / Intern work or being a Teaching assistant.
