About the Role

• We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Freelance Cameraman / Video Editor to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and engages our audience. You will work independently to capture, edit, and deliver compelling videos on a freelance basis.‍

Responsibilities:
Video Production:

• Independently shoot and edit 1-2 videos per week, adhering to agreed-upon deadlines and style guidelines.
• Ensure high-quality audio and video recordings.

Post-Production:

• Edit video footage, including color correction, sound mixing, and adding relevant graphics and effects.
• Create engaging thumbnails for each video.
• Deliver final videos in the required formats for various platforms.

Equipment & Logistics:

• Manage and maintain your own professional video equipment (cameras, lighting, sound).
• Plan and execute video shoots independently, including location scouting and logistics. (Transportation is covered by company)

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in video production, including shooting, editing, and post-production.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional video editing skills and a creative style.
• Proficiency in professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Da Vinci).
• Experience with camera operation and lighting techniques.
• Knowledge of audio recording and mixing techniques.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
