Full Stack Software Developer at Mr Price Group

Introduction

We’re looking for an energetic, passionate dev to bring their full stack skills into our mrpIT family! You’d be in our Customer Commerce team which is an amazing group that are innovative and passionate about our internal e-commerce space and systems.

Experience required

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the below:

• Java OR C#
• PHP
• Databases: MySQL OR SQL Server
• HTML/CSS
• GraphQL (Advantage)
• Magento (Advantage)
• JavaScript (REACT and/or Angular frameworks)
• Amazon Web services
• GitLab

• Estimating development timelines
• Solving technical problems
• Creating a Technical Functional Specification and writing code
• Develop, enhance and maintain applications that conform to user requirements and specified architectural design with little supervision in well designed and efficient code
• Elements of change control
• Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes
• Release process management
• Use development frameworks, methodologies, and procedures to facilitate application design and delivery according to technical specifications
• Conduct necessary unit testing (Stress, Integration and Unit)
• Conduct post implementation monitoring
• Document support handover documentation
• Complete and maintain relevant documentation and version control disciplines to maintain source code
• Mentor junior developers
• Using waterfall / agile methodologies for project delivery
