Description:
- Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced GCC Engineer to join their mining company based in KwaZulu-Natal. You will be responsible for managing engineering operations to ensure safe, compliant and efficient maintenance and performance of operational assets and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee engineering maintenance and reliability of operational assets and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, safety and engineering standards.
- Manage planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Monitor equipment performance and implement improvement initiatives.
- Supervise engineering teams and contractors to ensure safe and efficient execution of work.
- Support budgeting, cost control and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- GCC Mines & Works
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5 years' experience as an Engineer within the mining industry (POST GCC)
- Valid Driver's License
