Job Advert Summary    

• Macsteel Fluid Control is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and hardworking employee to join our dynamic warehouse team and is ready to contribute to a leading steel company

Minimum Requirements    

• Minimum of a matric certificate or 2 years proven work experience with acceptable levels of numeracy and literacy (Will be tested)
• Product Knowledge of all Macsteel products and the ability to understand and learn new products
• Prepared to multi-task, work overtime or flexible shifts when required
• The ability to communicate in English
• Prepared to undergo training

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Picking and packing of stock/ material into correct locations.
• Assisting the crane driver in slinging material and packing material for delivery
• Packing of material for delivery.
• Loading and off-loading of vehicles.
• Assist in stock take
• Comply with work rules, standards and methods
• Assist with ad hoc functions as required
• Be prepared to work outside of normal hours when necessary.
• General housekeeping according to company standards.
• Always understanding and conformance of the company policies and procedures.
• Perform any reasonable and lawful task / instruction.
• Ensure correct label is put on the correct bundles to ensure material identification.
• Ensure correct PPE is worn to prevent injury.
