General Maintenance Manager - Wilderness

A beautiful lodge in Wilderness, Western Cape is looking for a General Maintenance Manager to join their team. They are looking for someone to oversee and fix all maintenance of their property and cabins.

Requirements:
- Plumbing skills
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Strong and physically capable
- Strong communication skills (must speak English)
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the other maintenance staff members, knowing what their roles are and giving direction
- Maintaining the plumbing, electrics, generator and other systems in and around the property
- Making sure the lodge functions correctly as a whole
- Communicating any issues with municipality
- Being on site at night to attend to guests, after the evening staff leave
- Having the work phone at night and on the weekends, when the day manager is off
- Communicating and dealing with guests
