    General Manager Motor Assessing

    Job Description
    Purpose:

    We looking for a General Manager Motor Assessing, the individual will need to be a strong in developing effective partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders, combined with excellent communication, planning and implementation skills will ensure that strategies are executed brilliantly.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee day-to-day operations
    • Design strategy
    • Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
    • Set policies and processes
    • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
    • Evaluate and improve operations
    • Prepare regular reports for upper management
    • Assess and evaluate the business case of the opportunity or challenge encountered through business scenarios
    • Lead a team to ensure that the following deliverables are met at an operational and tactical level
    • Manage relationships with stakeholders
    • Accurate and timeous reporting of relevant management information
    • Budget planning and cost management
    • Build strategic, professional and ethical relationships with internal  and external clients
       

    Competencies

    The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following:

    • The ability to deliver in a high-pressure, innovative environment
    • Excellent negotiation skills
    • The ability to engage at strategic, tactical and operational levels of the business
    • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
    •  Relationship management
    • Self-motivated team player, able to inspire colleagues and display leadership by example
    • Upholds ethics and values and demonstrates high levels of integrity
    • Methodically plans and organises tasks and projects
    • Works meticulously always demonstrating a very high level of attention to detail
    • Adapts and responds positively to change
    • The ability to multitask and handle stress

    Qualifications
    Minimum requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Matric
    • Senior Management  qualification (MAP/PMD or Similar)

    Advantageous

    Technical Motor qualification
    Experience:

    • 5 years working experience  in a similar role , with a minimum of 3 years in a senior position
    • Experience in motor vehicle assessing
    • Experience in quoting
    • Strong presentation and communications skills including experience working closely with senior leadership
    • MS Suite with high proficiency in Excel
