General Worker at Afrimat

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

• Grade 12
• Excellent knowledge of hand- & power tools.
• SHE REP certificate will be advantageous.
• Write, understand and communicate in English
• No criminal record
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must be prepared to work after hours (overtime).
• Will be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
• Will be able to work independently as well in a team environment

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Executing daily vehicle checks.
• Assist as requested with daily and after hour tasks.
• Assist with housekeeping in workshop and on other sites.
• Assist to conduct routine maintenance as directed.
• Report faulty equipment and unsafe conditions.
• Assist to change faulty equipment / parts as requested.
• To ensure that Safety rules and procedures are adhere to, according to the rules and regulations of the workshop and mine.
