Minimum Qualifications / Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification, National Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Mining).
- +3 years’ experience in a manager role
- Manage and oversee day-to-day SHHEQ functions within your area of responsibility, ensuring all activities align with legal and company standards.
- Computer Literate (MS Office Suite, specifically excel)
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Oversee,coordinate and optimize daily mobile crushing and screening operations.
- Manage subordinates, which includes shift handovers, timesheet management, log sheets, over inspections and employee relations.
- Analyse, process and act on information.
- Develop subordinates by continuously improving the knowledge of team and conducting on the job training.
- Plan activities in accordance with production requirements and allocate resources as required.
- Liaise with the client
- Liaise and synchronise plant maintenance schedules/activities with engineering sections.
- Continuously monitor process efficiency and quality parameters.
- Ensure adherence and implementation of SHE policies and procedures.
- Willing to work overtime and be available for callouts should the need arise.

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Site Manager and operational team.
- Assist with compiling daily, weekly and monthly operational reports.
- Maintain records of site documentation, correspondence and operational information
- Assist with purchase requisitions, orders, invoices and delivery documentation
- Assist with audit preparation and ensure that required site documentation is readily available
- Receive, inspect and record incoming stock, materials, equipment and consumables
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices
- Safely store and organise stock in the designated stores area
- Issue materials, tools, PPE, consumables and equipment to authorised employees and contractors
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist with monthly and periodic stocktaking
- Monitor stock levels and identify minimum/maximum stock requirements
- Maintain a safe, clean and orderly stores and administrative environment
- Ensure appropriate PPE is available and controlled for employees and contractors

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Liaise with the Maintenance Manager on a daily basis to discuss maintenance/engineering breakdowns in the plant and submit job cards.
- Perform fault-finding, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical equipment.
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools as well as measuring instruments and reassemble equipment.
- Must have a broad knowledge of Conveyer Belts, Vibrating Grizzly Feeder, Gearboxes, Bearings, Pumps, Crushers (4¼ Symons cone crushers, Sandvik CH 440 cone crusher, Sandvik CS 440 cone crusher HP300 cone crusher, Osborn Jaw Crusher) and Screens.
- Perform daily plant running inspections and greasing.
- Conduct CSS and Record Head Spins for the Crushers as per Plant AggFlow stipulated by the Maintenance Foreman. Ensure crushers are running with correct CSS.
- Monitor oil pressure, oil temperature and hydraulic pressure on cone crushers throughout the day.
- Perform daily bearing temperature inspections.
- Perform monthly oil sampling on gearboxes and crushers.
- Perform monthly inspections on lifting equipment and report deviations to Maintenance Foreman.
- Ensure sufficient lubrication on crushers, gearboxes and feeder.
- Executing daily planned task maintenance which includes skirting replacement, idler changes, belt scrappers adjustments, conveyor belt alignment and tension are done efficiently as per PM maintenance schedules.
- Installation of water dust suppression system for the plant.
- Maintenance of the water system for the ablution facilities, workshop, weighbridge and admin block.
- Submit Parts Requisition to the Maintenance Manager to ensure critical spares availability and maintain stock levels.
- Housekeeping, safety standards and leadership.
- Mentor and train students.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
