Requirements and Expectations

Minimum Requirements

• ABET Certificate (higher qualifications will serve as an added advantage).
• Knowledge of general work practices, including handling and operating basic tools, equipment, and appliances.
• Understanding of lawn care, pruning, and trimming techniques.
• Basic knowledge of chemical use (dilution and mixing) for maintenance purposes.
• Familiarity with machine and equipment maintenance procedures.
• Basic understanding of water utilization and resource management.
• Awareness of health and safety procedures and government regulations applicable to the role.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform general assistant duties as required.
• Load and unload furniture, equipment, and materials to and from designated areas.
• Clean and maintain government vehicles and work areas.
• Carry out grass cutting, trimming, and pavement cleaning.
• Cut and stockpile trees and perform other vegetation control tasks.
• Support the maintenance of grounds, tools, and facilities to ensure a clean and safe environment.
