Duties
Carry out general maintenance activities including weed control, gardening, painting, maintenance of fire breaks and herbicide application.
Conduct general routine inspections on Departmental infrastructure. Perform maintenance tasks on government water infrastructure and related facilities such as canals, pipelines, dams, servitudes, terrain and buildings.
Report faults, defects, and safety hazards to supervisors promptly. Load and offload equipment. Adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act and all related safety regulations. Assist with other general duties as and when requested.
