General Worker (Storm Water) at Maphumulo Local Municipality

Salary: R132 228 - R145 380.24

Key Requirements and Experience

• Grade 10/ Standard 08 secondary level of education and must be able to read and write.
• The applicant must be physically fit to withstand extreme weather conditions. Six (06) months traceable general work experience. Must be able to communicate in lsiZulu and understand English.

Key Performance Areas

• Maintenance of existing main holes & drainage. Cleaning of water channels/ v-drains General relevant maintenance of community halls, sport field facilities and municipal building.
• Provide General assistance with municipal plant and helping plant operators.
• Plumbing, Bricklaying, tilling. Painting, Glazing, Welding, Carpentry and Electricity Tubing. Perform any other duties as the supervisor may request from time to time.
