Job Purpose    

• To capture, maintain and disseminate Corporate Geographic Information System (GIS) data and provide GIS technical support to different projects.

Key Responsibility Areas    

• Capture and manipulate corporate spatial and attribute data.
• Perform technical and spatial analysis on digital and hardcopy information.
• Perform manipulation, conversion or translation of data to usable formats.
• Maintain comprehensive records of GIS work completed.
• Provide basic GIS end user support.
• Keep abreast of GIS technology advancements.

Essential Requirements    

• Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Surveying or Town Planning or Geographical Information Systems
• (GIS) or any other related and equivalent qualification.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license.
• 2 Years relevant experience.

Preferred Requirements    

• Degree (NQF Level 7) in Surveying or Town Planning or Geographical Information Systems
• (GIS) or any other related and equivalent qualification.
• 3 Years relevant experience.
