A US Software company is looking for a Developer to join their global development team in Cape Town.

We are looking for a Google App Script Developer with a desire and ability to design and develop software applications through the entire life cycle. This position will require a passion for embracing relevant new technologies utilizing a strong base of existing skills, theories, and techniques. 

• Participate in the entire software development life cycle including software design, implementation, code reviews, integration and debugging for new products and existing ones.

• Drive continuous iterative agile like software planning and development.

• Planning, tracking and scheduling software deliverables, for agile like software development

• Architect, develop, and document software solutions.

• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems

• Use versioning tools like SVN/Git to document your changes and track historical changes made to code

• Problem solve creatively, strategically, and structurally

• Create technical specifications and test cases

• Have open/flexible time availability to address, advise and help solve urgent issues and to assist other dev teams to accomplish tasks

• Independently manage tasks to completion

• Ability and desire to travel as required (less than 10% of the time)

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Computer Science or other related technical discipline and two years of relevant professional experience

• Google App Scripts

• Google APIs

• Google sheets APIs

• JavaScript

• Implementing and calling Web Services

• SQL Skills
