Preava is looking for high-performing software developers like you who are eager to join our high-velocity agile remote-only team!
What you will be doing
As someone with spot-on JavaScript (or TypeScript skills), you will build from the ground up a customer-facing Google Chrome browser extension and integrate with the Google Workspace ecosystem.
As a member of the features team, you will deliver features for our Chrome Extension ensuring adherence to our coding, quality and security practices
As a developer, you will submit merge requests, and you will take part in XP and code-review sessions with senior engineers
As a developer, you will hunt down bugs and participate in root cause analysis thanks to your problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities
At Preava there is no room for weak designs; you will work with a highly-technical team of experienced engineers. As a part of our feature team, you will work with all the latest technologies like Vue.js, React, gRPC, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS Lambda. As a part of our engineering organization, you will rely on CI/CD, GitOps and functional testing automation to automate your workflow. We expect you to become an active member of a low-power-distance, highly-relational engineering culture.

Job requirements
Technical/quantitative university degree
2+ years of coding experience TypeScript or JavaScript
Comfortable with Linux and/or macOS environments and shell scripting
As a plus, familiarity with build systems (Make, CMake, Ninja) and CI/CD
Ability to understand and pick up new technologies
Ability to work 100% remotely
