Gordon’s Bay Yacht Club has been the home of watersports in the Helderberg since 1966.

• We are recruiting for a CLUB MANAGER to oversee and manage the daily operations of the Club. If you are someone who has strong administrative and finance skills, but also enjoys daily liaison with clients and understands how to juggle a lot of responsibilities, then this is for you.

We are looking for a solutions orientated individual with:

• Strong administrative and excellent communication skills
• General managerial experience and adept at conflict resolution
• Financial acumen who understands business finance and is able to analyse financial statements
• A basic understanding of yachts, moorings and harbour protocol
• Strong computer literacy in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Pastel
• Previous hospitality experience e.g., event organising

Requirements
Key requirements are:

• A solutions orientated disposition with excellent people skills, solutions orientated and knows how to resolve conflict constructively
• Someone who is assertive and knows how to prioritize
• A solutions-oriented person
• High integrity
• Matric certificate and relevant tertiary qualification
• Unendorsed driver’s licence and own vehicle
• You have to reside in the Helderberg area
