We are seeking a qualified and professional Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, customers, and assets. The Security Officer will patrol the premises, monitor surveillance equipment, and respond to any security incidents that may arise.
Responsibilities:
Patrol designated areas to ensure the security of the premises
Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems
Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
Enforce company policies and procedures
Provide a visible presence to deter criminal activity
Report any suspicious or unusual activities to management
Record and report any security incidents or breaches
Assist employees or customers with security concerns
Conduct security checks of visitors, vehicles, and packages
Respond to emergencies and provide first aid if necessary
Qualifications:
Valid Psira certificate
Previous experience in security preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
Strong problem-solving skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
