Graduate Engineer (Municipal) at GIBB Engineering and Architecture

Core Purpose:

• The Graduate Municipal Engineer will be responsible for the design and coordination of the civil infrastructure design on medium to large sized Municipal Engineering projects.

Key Performance Areas

• Design of Civil Infrastructure: Roads, stormwater, water and sanitation for townships, commercial and industrial developments.
• Adherence to Quality Management System
• Keep abreast of Technical best practice
• Prepare and self-review Technical Reports
• Investigate and make recommendations on alternate solutions to engineering problems
• Technical Contract Documents.
• Work independently and produce project technical deliverables
• Experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects
• Good communication and people skills
• Preparation of reports and presentations
• Competent with Civil Designer, OR Civil3D
• Competent in AutoCAD

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

• Tertiary Qualification (BSc Eng, B Eng or B Tech)

Experience:

• 3 or more years with specific Civil Infrastructure Design for Townships experience a pre-requisite
