    HCM (Human Capital Management) Administrator

    Core Purpose

    Provide administrative, coordination, information and support services to the HCM Business Partnering team and HCM Executive.

    Key Performance Areas

    Talent Attraction:

    • To draft the Application to Recruit forms, Job specifications where applicable in support to line managers.
    • To load approved roles on the company's ATS (Applicant tracking system) for the BP’s review.
    • To conduct telephonic screenings with longlisted candidates.
    • To schedule interviews with candidate/s and interview panel, book boardrooms and share MS Teams meeting links where applicable.
    • To request and collect recruitment documentation – qualifications, ID, payslip, etc.
    • To draft contract of employment letters and compile recruitment packs for the BP’s review.
    • To process changes to approved contract/s of employment where required.
    • To complete reference checks and verification checks with the provider
    • Recruitment agency administration – to draft agreement/s for the BP’s review and to load on the company's ATS.
    • New Employee Onboarding:
    • To liaise with the respective HCM Officer to ensure completion of the onboarding process before employee’s commencement.
    • To schedule/co-ordinate the monthly HCM inductio with the respective BP and new employee/s

    Contract Administration/Amendments:

    • To draft letters/internal forms for BP’s review and co-ordinate approval

    Meetings Administration:

    • To draft meeting invites and compile respective mailing lists.
    • To compile HCM Meeting Minutes.
    • To track attendees acceptance and meeting conflicts, booking of boardrooms where in-person.
    • To manage HCM Executive’s diary.

    HCM reporting administration:

    • To capture new employee data for Recruitment report/stats
    • To follow-up weekly with BP on assigned positions and update recruitment sheet/ATS
    • Capturing exit interview data for employee termination stats/report
    • Other related administration for reporting purposes

    Job Requirements

    • Qualification: Bachelors degree/National Diploma specialising in Organisational Psychology/Hurman Resources Management
    • Experience: 1 year experience in a HCM/HR Administrator role for a medium to large consulting company.

    Graduate Engineer (Municipal)

    Core Purpose:

    • The Graduate Municipal Engineer will be responsible for the design and coordination of the civil infrastructure design on medium to large sized Municipal Engineering projects.

    Key Performance Areas

    Project Architect

    Core Purpose

    We are looking to hire an experienced Project Architect to oversee the detail design development, technical documentation, and construction monitoring of Architectural projects for our clients. With each project, you will lead the production team and coordinate external consultants and stakeholders. You will be responsible for quality control during construction and be required to administer the construction contract where required.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Manage a junior team and co-ordinate their efforts in conjunction with their own inputs to the design development process and preparation of technical documentation.
    • Manage consultants, code compliance and production.
    • Manage client project team relationships such as contractual obligations, project expectations, quality of service and overall communication amongst all parties.
    • Meet with clients and stakeholders to discuss construction designs.
    • Oversee the construction administration of a project/s.
    • Acting as an intermediary between the client and the construction team.
    • Visiting the site regularly to ensure construction adheres to applicable regulations.
    • Creating progress and quality inspection reports.
    • Conducting a final inspection after the project is complete.
    • Travel might be a requirement with the ability to work independently as the company representative.
    • Sensitivity to risk and the ability to manage risk with experience and knowledge are key to success in this role.
    • An ability to interface with a full consultant team in a foreign country will be necessary.

    Job Requirements

    Qualification:

    • Master’s degree or BTech in Design and Architecture

    Experience:

    • Minimum 7 years of experience in the role of Project Architect
    • Full knowledge and experience of the JBCC forms of contract will be an advantage.
    • A strong technical knowledge together with efficient management skills is essential.

    Design Architect

    Core Purpose

    SVA International has favored a Contemporary approach to design with strong roots in the Modernist movement and continues to produce buildings of this aesthetic. Experience in a leading role during the design process and previous work in different market sectors and building typologies is essential. Our current work is being undertaken across the African continent, and as such, has diverse cultural impacts in the conceptualization of the various design products.

    The candidate’s experience of work outside of South Africa will be important factor in responding to these diversities. The candidate will require knowledge and understanding of working with international client- and operator brand standards as necessary for the detail execution of these designs.

    As a Design Architect, you will be responsible for work in collaboration with a design team to produce innovative designs across a wide range of building typologies and environments.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Produce design and technical information across all the PROCSA Work Stages 1-4 and must display strong creativity in the conceptual design stages.
    • The preparation of designs options for cost feasibility studies and designs, prepare full architectural and interior architecture design concepts, and capable of leading the development of the design to the next stages of documentation.
    • Creatively design, plan and conceptualize all aspects of assigned projects.
    • Consolidate all architectural requirements and specifications, as well as input from other consultants.
    • Effectively communicate design intent and concepts to clients and stakeholders
    • Work closely with architectural visualizer(s) and graphic designers in preparation of design presentation material
    • Promote and nurture positive business relationships through effective communication.
    • Prepare and maintain copies of completed architectural designs and drawings.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum working knowledge of collaboration platforms BIM360 & ACC is a must.
