Graduate Market Data Content Analyst at Iress

Role Purpose

We are looking for a highly motivated graduate for our 12 month graduate program. The position requires a driven, ambitious team player who enjoys a challenging, fast-paced environment. Iress has a content team, based in Bryanston South Africa, that manages various types of data ranging from Financial Statements, Unit Trusts, Company Statutory data, Economic and Exchange data. The various data types are managed by different teams for the use in our various products used by our professional clients. The data is key to the clients investment decision making process and therefore it is imperative that the data is well managed, timely and accurate.

Accountabilities & Deliverables

• The successful candidate will spend 2 months at a time, actively learning and participating in the different data departments. They will learn the processes required to manage the data and the products that the client uses

• The candidate will be expected to take an active role in managing the data, resolving queries and by the end of the two month session with each team be able to have a full understanding of the processes

Key Relationships

• The candidate will report directly to the Content Team lead but will be under the guidance and mentoring of the team lead directly responsible for that department during their 2 month tenure

• The candidate will have interaction with all team members, customer services and product teams

Qualifications

• Bcom with either Accounts or economics

• Or a diploma with Accounting or economics
