The Regional Sales Manager is accountable for delivering quarterly and annual sales targets across identified sales channels, with a strong focus on driving SaaS revenue through strategic planning and high-level stakeholder engagement.
This role requires a hands-on sales leader who can balance strategy and execution. Approximately half of your time will be spent executing channel-specific sales strategies, while working closely with senior leadership to develop account plans and evaluate the effectiveness of sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Delivery: Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue and Total Contract Value (TCV) targets.
Channel Optimisation: Build high-performing sales channels through training, refining sales engagement models, and ensuring pricing and sales collateral are current and effective.
Stakeholder Orchestration: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and maximise impact.
Full Sales Cycle Support: Support channel partners across the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation and pre-sales through to onboarding and account growth.
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and performance-manage team members to build a high-performing and engaged sales team.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies in line with ISO 27001 standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile
You are a high-energy, commercially astute sales leader with a proven ability to close complex ICT and SaaS solutions across Sub-Saharan Africa. You are confident engaging at C-suite level, navigating multinational matrix organisations, and leading strategic negotiations. Beyond individual deal-closing ability, you are a strategic orchestrator who excels at building strong channel relationships and inspiring teams to consistently exceed revenue targets.
Requirements
Degree in Commerce, IT, or a related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in telecommunications, enterprise software, or the ICT sector
Proven experience working across Sub-Saharan Africa
Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead complex solution sales
High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
