Grain Quality System Specialist at Senwes

Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain variance reports on all daily test results and oversee follow-up on deviations.
• Prepare and execute CAPEX projects for the acquisition of new grading instruments at the silos.
• Liaise with the Quality Manager and Regional Managers to confirm equipment placement according to crop estimates.
• Oversee the installation, calibration, and maintenance of grading instruments.
• Develop processes to improve quality management efficiency at the silos.
• Provide training to silo employees on instrument use where required.
• Manage and develop laboratory personnel.

Requirements

• A relevant post-matric qualification.
• An FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System certificate will be advantageous.
• 2–5 years’ experience in a grain quality and food safety environment.
