Graphic Design Intern (12-month FTC) at Octotel

Where will the successful candidate fit in?

• We are looking for a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern to join our marketing team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in visual design, branding, and content creation while working on real projects that support our campaigns. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, adaptable, and passionate about design.

Key Objectives

• Assist with the creation of marketing materials including social media graphics, presentations, posters, and digital assets.
• Support the design and layout of internal and external communications.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
• Contribute creative ideas for campaigns, visuals, and content.
• Assist with basic video editing or animation (advantageous but not required).
• Participate in brainstorming sessions with the marketing and content team.
• And any other reasonable task

Requirements

• Completed an NQF Level 6 qualification in Graphic Design, Marketing or related.
• Proficient in Adobe creative suite
• Strong eye for layout, colour, and typography.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Must not have previously participated in a SETA-funded internship.
• Commitment to completing the 12-month Internship
• Reliable transport to and from Northgate Business Park.
• Applicant must be based in Cape Town
• Applicant must be a South African Citizen
