    Group Lead Culture & People Experience

    Job Description    

    • Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for a Group Lead Culture &  People Experience,to join the People & Culture team at CCBA. The role will report to the Group Head Organisation Effectiveness. 
    • The key purpose of this role is to lead the development and execution of the culture and employee experience strategy, embedding the organisation's values and desired behaviours across all markets. The role drives culture transformation, employee listening, wellbeing, and integration of culture into People & Culture processes to strengthen engagement, leadership effectiveness, and business performance.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    
    Culture Strategy Deployment

    • Lead implementation of the Group Culture Manifesto across all Africa markets.
    • Ensure consistent understanding and adoption of cultural principles regionally.
    • Localise and adapt initiatives while maintaining alignment with Group standards.
    • Develop and execute annual culture activation plans.

    Culture Activation & Capability Building

    • Design and facilitate culture labs, leadership workshops, and engagement sessions.
    • Equip market leaders and P&C teams to serve as culture ambassadors.
    • Support leaders in embedding desired behaviours within their teams.
    • Customise toolkits, resources, and playbooks that support adoption.

    Storytelling & Internal Communications

    • Develop and execute culture communication campaigns.
    • Curate and share employee success stories that reinforce desired behaviours.
    • Partner with Internal Communications on consistent culture messaging.
    • Drive visibility of culture initiatives across multiple channels.

    Integration into People & Culture Processes

    • Embed culture into recruitment, onboarding, and leadership development.
    • Reflect culture in performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning.
    • Integrate culture into recognition, reward, and learning & development.
    • Partner with P&C teams to keep culture visible across the employee lifecycle.

    Employee Listening Strategy

    • Lead regional listening initiatives: engagement, pulse, onboarding, and exit surveys.
    • Analyse survey findings and develop actionable recommendations.
    • Support leaders in building and implementing survey action plans.
    • Monitor progress and improvement over time.

    Wellness & Employee Wellbeing

    • Develop and oversee the regional wellness strategy.
    • Drive initiatives supporting physical, emotional, financial, and social wellbeing.
    • Partner with stakeholders to deliver wellbeing programmes.
    • Measure programme effectiveness and participation; promote sustainable performance.

    Governance & Reporting

    • Track regional culture and employee experience metrics.
    • Develop regular reporting for regional leadership.
    • Share best practice across markets.
    • Ensure alignment between regional initiatives and Group priorities.

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Skills:

    • Culture transformation & activation
    • Employee experience (PX) design
    • Engagement & survey management
    • Internal communications & storytelling
    • Change management & facilitation
    • Data analysis & reporting
    • Stakeholder influencing & relationship building
    • Cultural awareness & adaptability

    Experience:

    • 5–8 years in HR, OD, Culture, Employee Experience, or Change Management.
    • Multi-country / regional experience across Africa preferred.
    • Proven delivery of culture and engagement programmes at scale; FMCG / beverage advantageous.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's in HR, Organisational / Industrial Psychology, Business, or Communications.
    • Postgraduate in OD, Change Management, or Employee Experience preferred.
    • Certification in Change Management, Facilitation, or Coaching advantageous.
