Group Tax Manager - Africa at CA Financial Appointments

Responsibilities:

• Accounting for taxes and related party transactions
• Tax compliance and audits
• Transfer pricing
• Legislation
• Corporate activities affecting your region
• Review all opinions that are issued by the Tax Specialist
• Collaboration across functions and business units
• Tax policy and tax risk management
• Actively coaching and mentoring direct reports and the broader staff

Requirements:

• B.Com Hons (Taxation) or B.Com plus a Higher Diploma in Tax
• Master’s in international Tax or similar qualification an advantage
• 8 years tax experience, 2 within management
• Effective management of projects, the ability to meet all deadlines and the ability to effectively manage the implementation of proposals/acquisitions
• Strong opinion writing skills
• Ability to understand and interpret the impact of tax law changes on the business
